Update: February, 2012

As you know, we are now under new management. We have been advised that we are able to accept Learning  Support Fund applications for Term 1.  Pupils must be on the current RTLB roll.

Completed applications should be sent to our office as usual.  We will then forward them to our new RTLB Manager at Freyberg High School (our new fund holder school) for consideration.

Please note that there is no allocation to Supplementary Learning Support students this term.

We have recently sent all of the SENCO teachers two samples of completed forms (which have been evaluated at the end of the programme) and we have also updated the LSF form on this website for you to use.  Please ensure you outline the programme/s clearly with SMART goals and measurable outcomes as we will be contesting with a huge number of schools (not just our 14!).

Please get in touch if you are not sure – we are here to help and want our pupils to receive the support they need.

Good luck!!!

Karen, Annette and Andrea
RTLB Team

Can you help us!!

We have lost a series of Non-fiction Sails Books.  Can you please check your shelves and ask your staff if they have seen them.  Thank you!!

P.S. We have recently updated our site and now have a wonderful page on Sue Larkey’s Tips on Autism.  You will find a lot of great advise and information here.

We are also developing a bank of website links to great sites for developing literacy skills – take a minute to have a look.

We have recently tracked down some thick ropes suitable for the work many schools are doing with Lee Corlett’s programme.  Please get in contact with us if you are interested!!

Please remember that if you have anything you think would be useful for your cluster teaching buddies, just email it to us to add to the blog.

We will be upgrading the blog regularly, so please check for additions and changes to keep up with the latest news and PD opportunities that we are posting.
